A slump is defined as a state of a person when the said person’s efficiency drops, the person performs slowly and overall performance deteriorates.

A writer’s block is a condition comparable to the aforementioned definition.

Now, I have been in a slump for a couple of weeks now.

I haven't been as productive as I usually like to be. I haven’t been very physically active either.

I could easily blame it on the pandemic, the ravaging second wave that has shaken the economy, more severely now than ever before. Choked the national healthcare system to its last gasp and has absolutely plundered the livelihood of hundreds of thousands of people.

As I am writing this, sitting in my room with a roof over my head, I can’t even comprehend how grateful I feel for the things so many of us take for granted.

If you are someone who has these basic necessities, these things that you have got so accustomed to, value them. It might be your family, your friends, your health, or even your house.

If you are reading this, you are easily living the life, which almost a billion people would consider their dream life, they would consider their prayers answered if they switched places with you right this instant.

Now heading back to the topic, Slump.

This slump, that I was in was a result of the constant reasons I was giving myself.

I have realized this more vividly than ever before.

It's all up to you.

As I have heard Will Smith saying this time and again.

Whether you think you can,

Whether you think you can’t,

You are right.

Will make this writing continual again.
